Meeting Street Schools @ Brentwood
Signage package re-brand with new logo and color scheme.
A local North Charleston county school was ready to unveil their new brand for the 2022 school year. After meeting with the school’s business manager, I was able to see what needed an uplift and what areas could be updated to bring a fresh new look to the school. Meeting Street Schools @ Brentwood’s previous all-brown scheme was extremely dated and I believe did not feel like a place for young children. We wasted no time to ensure all was completed before the school year began. The new design was sure to bring more joy to all of the kids! The vivid greens and cartoon bulldog was to be plastered everywhere in hopes to unify the students and faculty under one brand.
The school had requested a way to help filter some of the sunlight that enters through the front entrance. We digitally printed the bulldog design onto Window Perf panels that will block visibility while looking into the school and allow visibility from the inside looking out. The window perf will also help decrease the amount of light that shines from the sun.
Brentwood has these really beautiful lattice arches throughout the school. They have a core set of values that they call Success Skills (curiosity, empathy, etc). They wanted a way to showcase these skills in these archways. I proposed the idea that we can create full-size panels that included a definition of the skills and include portraits of various students who attend the school.
